What is bakhoor?
Bakhoor is wood chips or pressed discs of agarwood (oud) that are heated or burned to scent a room, clothing or hair. It is a traditional part of hospitality across the Gulf. Bakhory bakhoor is made from Cambodian agarwood with no synthetic fragrance.
What is the difference between oud sticks and bakhoor?
Oud incense sticks are thin sticks that you light directly and let smoulder — each burns for around 30–45 minutes. Bakhoor comes as discs or chips that are heated in a burner (mabkhara) and releases scent for longer; our round bakhoor discs burn for about 4 hours.
Are Bakhory incense sticks natural?
Yes. Each stick is 88% Cambodian agarwood and 12% natural plant binder mixed with spring water. There is no charcoal, no chemical dipping oils and no synthetic fragrance.
How long does shipping take?
We ship worldwide with tracking. Typical delivery times after dispatch: UAE 24–48 hours, Saudi Arabia 3–4 days, USA and Canada 5–7 days, Europe 5–7 days, Oceania 5–7 days, Latin America and other countries 10–15 days. Orders can take 2–3 days to process before shipping; we do not ship on weekends.
How do I track my order?
When your order ships you receive an email with a tracking number. If the email does not arrive or the number does not work, contact us at [email protected] and we will sort it out.
What is your return policy?
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your item. Returns are accepted when the product is unopened, unused and in its original packaging. We arrange free courier collection, so returns cost you nothing. Card refunds appear within about five days. For Saudi Arabia cash-on-delivery orders, a refund fee of 30 AED plus 5% VAT applies. We do not offer exchanges — we refund instead.
How do I use an electric bakhoor burner?
Charge the burner over USB, place a small piece of bakhoor or an oud chip on the ceramic heating plate and switch it on. The element warms the bakhoor without an open flame, so there is no charcoal and no ash. Clean the plate after each use once it has cooled.
